We were partly correct in our assessment of the rockfall hazard. While on the route, there was very little natural rockfall.
However, it was almost impossible to climb the route without dislodging the large amounts of rock that was sitting on the ice, or beside the ice. Even though I am very careful about not dislodging rock, there were several times when large amounts of rock narrowly missed climbers following leaders while simul climbing.
I will avoid this climb in the future.
